Donegal County Council are proposing to include in the County Donegal Development Plan 2024-2030 a total of 36 Public Rights of Way, in accordance with Section 14 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (As Amended).
In each case, all reasonable steps were taken to identify landowners and occupiers of land affected by the route the public right of way, and all such owners and occupiers for whom addresses could be obtained were informed by notice of said proposal. By way of informing those owners and occupiers that could not be contacted (ie. where individual notices were returned as not delivered, or where contact addresses could not be obtained) statutory notices in respect of all 36 proposals, including those where owners/occupiers could not be contacted, are available at the links below. Each notice consists of a written notice and a map identifying the route of the proposed public right of way.
Only owners and occupiers of the lands referred to can make written submissions or observations in accordance with the requirements of the aforementioned Section 14 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 (As Amended). Said submissions must be made to the Planning Authority by 17th November 2023.
